Saba Qamar’s Bollywood debut ‘Hindi Medium’ enters 100 crore club


Hindi Medium was released alongside a few big movies that were predicted to do well at the box office. However, the film has proven it doesn’t matter how many films run parallel yours. In its fourth week of release, the comedy film has garnered up to 63.72 Crore.

It has crossed the 100 Crore mark with grossing over 91.75 Crores in India and 14 Crores internationally. So all in all, a worldwide collection of 105.75 Crores.

The film has certainly been profitable for the makers. Made with a budget of 22 Crores, Hindi Medium has accumulated around 41.72 Crore. That means a whopping profit of 189.96%. Not just this, an amount of 15 crores has already been gathered through the digital, satellite, music and overseas rights.

Not a bad attempt at all.

Hindi Medium is a social satirical comedy directed Saket Chaudhry. Saba Qamar, Irrfan Khan, Deepak Dobriyal and Amrita Singh play lead roles. It is also Saba Qamar’s Bollywood debut.
